Shell Convent is located directly next to the Mississippi River. Uniquely positioned midway between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Shell’s Convent facility sits on 4,400 acres in south Louisiana.
Pending final investment decisions, Shell's Convent Facility is projected to play an integral role in the US Gulf Coast's expansion and growth in the coming years. The former refinery currently houses dozens of Shell employees in south Louisiana in its newly renovated administration building. As a committed entity in both parishes, the location of Shell Convent allows Shell to invest in both parishes through various community outreach activities.
Former onsite facilities have been maintained as the company prepares for its transition into a low-carbon future. Shell Convent is a crucial link to many future projects in Shell’s US Gulf Coast.

The overall site measures approximately 800 acres – with a core manufacturing and logistics area of approximately 386 acres. The site is located along the Ohio River in Potter Township, Beaver County – approximately 30 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

Shell Deer Park is a 1,500-acre complex located in Deer Park, Texas, approximately 20 miles east of downtown Houston.
