Shell Deer Park Leadership Announcement

On October 1st, 2024, Shell Deer Park will make leadership changes for their General Manager role.
Effective October 1, 2024, Deer Park General Manager Nate Levin will be appointed General Manager, Shell Polymers Monaca. In his current role, Nate has led the Chemicals site through the separation from the Refinery, establishing a standalone organization built on the site’s 95 years of safe and stable operations in Deer Park. Nate takes pride in the how the site has evolved, building inclusion, challenge and fun into our daily operations and community activities. He joined Shell in 2002 at Norco and has held several roles across the Norco, Puget Sound and Deer Park sites along with a leadership role in Chemicals Commercial Operations.
At the same time, we are pleased to announce that effective October 1st, 2024, Bill Watson will be appointed General Manager, Deer Park Chemicals. In his current role, Bill has led the Monaca site through commissioning and start up activities through to production. Bill joined Shell in 1991 and has held several roles at Shell’s Chemicals and Products facilities, including central roles in process safety. Prior to his roles at Monaca, Bill was the Deer Park Technology Manager. He looks forward to returning to the Chemicals site and reconnecting with the Deer Park community through the East Harris County Manufacturers Association and the Deer Park Community Advisory Council.
